Pulis is keen to keep their good form going and hopes to be in a very strong position by January, as he looks to bring in some of his top targets.
The Welshman will be handed extra funds to enhance the squad following the takeover by Guochuan Lai at the start of the season.
Pulis said: “Fingers crossed we’ll get a good couple of points before the window opens.
“And then I think if we can get the players we want and targeted it will be pretty exciting for everyone at the football club.”
