West Brom wait on duo

West Bromwich Albion

West Brom will hand fitness tests to Nacer Chadli and Oliver Burke ahead of the visit of West Ham on Saturday.

Winger Burke has had a scan on a hamstring injury and will be assessed while boss Tony Pulis remained tight-lipped on Chadli’s problem.

“Nacer is one of the ones who has still got a problem, we will have to have a look again later on this morning to see how he is,” said Pulis.

“Oliver Burke is another one, there’s three of them really we are a little bit concerned with.”

Hal Robson-Kanu is available again after a ban and Gareth McAuley has recovered from a thigh injury, although Pulis admits they may decide against taking a risk on the veteran defender and keep him back for the League Cup third-round tie against Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Gareth Barry will equal Ryan Giggs’ Premier League appearance record of 623 games if he features.

Provisional squad: Foster, Myhill, Nyom, Evans, Dawson, McAuley, Yuning, Hegazi, Gibbs, Brunt, Yacob, Morrison, Field, Livermore, McClean, Chadli, Barry, Rondon, Rodriguez, Burke, Robson-Kanu, Krychowiak.
