Hammers eye Brazilian winger in Euro clash

West Ham United

West Ham, Leicester City and Everton scouted Ludogorets' talented Brazilian winger Jonathan Cafu in the Europa League on Thursday.

Representatives from all three Premier League clubs were in attendance as the Bulgarian outfit lost their round of 32 first-leg clash to FC Copenhagen 2-1, although Cafu set up a couple of good chances.

The 25-year-old was linked with a move to England in January with Leicester, Everton and West Ham all said to be chasing his services.

Cafu joined the Bulgarian champions from Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo for a meagre £1.9m in July 2015 and collected the award for best foreign player in his debut season.

Ludogorets will be looking to make a hefty profit on their investment in the summer when the expected bidding war gets under way.
