Sakho injury blow

West Ham United

West Ham striker Diafra Sakho picked up a hamstring injury in the draw with Manchester United on Sunday.

The Senegalese striker headed the Hammers in front at Old Trafford when he nodded home Dimitri Payet’s free-kick to give Slaven Bilic’s side the lead.

The striker then picked up an injury in the second half which turned out to be a hamstring problem and he is now awaiting a scan.

Having only just returned to the side after a back injury kept him out for the entire season it is the last thing the striker wants. He is almost certain to miss the EFL quarter-final clash against the same opposistion on Wednesday as Bilic’s men face another trip to Old Trafford.
