Wolves target halts contract talks
Wolves are monitoring Yacine Brahimi’s situation at Porto after reports claimed his contract talks have broken down.
The Algeria international has made 166 appearances, netting 41 times, since joining Porto from Granada in the summer of 2014.
Porto are eager to keep him on board for as long as possible and with that in mind they recently opened up contract negotiations.
However, reports claim they have stalled due to Brahimi’s desire to take his career to English shores in the near future.
Wolves, who have a earned a reputation over the last 12 months for snapping up talent from Portugal, are understood to be big admirers.
The report states Everton are also keen and the Premier League duo could be set to battle it out for his signature in January.
