Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno will not leave the club for money reasons and his happy to bide his time for the right club.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly putting together a package worth €60million to try and snare Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno.

Diego Simeone has been one of the busiest managers in European football this summer as he looks to reshape his squad.

Atleti have parted company with 15 players, including the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Rodri and Diego Godin, while nine new faces have arrived at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Simeone has drafted in some younger recruits and he spent big money to beat their rivals to the signature of highly-rated Portuguese forward Joao Felix earlier in the summer.

Indeed, Atleti are currently making a net profit of €46.5m on their summer spending and Simeone is keen to reinvest further as they look to challenge Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Rodrigo is the latest to be linked with a move to the capital-club and reports claim his agent Jorge Mendes has already held talks.

The 28-year-old came through Real’s academy but never managed to earn a senior appearance before he moved on to Benfica.

He enjoyed loan spells with Bolton and Valencia prior to joining Los Che permanently in June 2015 for a fee in the region of €30m.
