Barca ‘end’ Neymar pursuit – report
Reports claim Barcelona have now ended their interest in signing Paris Saint Germain’s Neymar as the clubs could not agree on a deal.
The Brazil international’s future has been the subject of many column inches over the summer after he made it clear that he wanted to return to his former stamping ground.
The Ligue 1 giants are refusing to budge over their valuation and have not sanctioned a deal despite both Barca and Real Madrid offering cash plus a few high-profile players.
🔊 Valverde: "I really want the transfer window to close, let's rest and know how this is, it's getting long. From Neymar I have nothing to say, he plays on another team and I respect the rivals." pic.twitter.com/Q5Q8nAx5xM

It seemed as though things were progressing on Thursday but Mundo Deportivo are reporting that the move has collapsed after PSG demanded the Catalans pay ‘a significant amount of money’ while sending Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo to Paris.
There is still time to resurrect the deal but it has been claimed that the Spanish giants have had enough.
