Real reject bids for Vinicius

Real Madrid rejected an approach from Arsenal for Brazilian starlet Vinicius Junior over the summer, reports have claimed.

The 19-year-old was a man in demand during the transfer window as Paris Saint-Germain wanted him in part exchange for Neymar, a deal that Real quickly ruled out, and they have done the same with the Gunners.

It is claimed Arsenal’s technical director Edu got in touch with Real to enquire about the possibility of taking the youngster but were told no deal.

Vinicius chipped in with seven goals and 13 assists for Real last season, and despite a host of new arrivals over the summer, including Eden Hazard, he remains firmly in the plans of Zinedine Zidane.

He has featured in all three of Real’s La Liga games this season and is going nowhere it would seem.
