Boss considers transfer options
QPR boss Neil Warnock has hinted he may not be looking to add a new striker to his squad in January.
Warnock has cash to spend when the transfer window opens in just over three weeks' time and it was widely expected that he would be after a new front man, but he claims that, such is the form of Icelandic hitman Heidar Helguson, he may look to strengthen other areas of the side.
"I was speaking to the chairman (Tony Fernandes) in Malaysia, and I've told him what my thoughts are," said Warnock. "You give me £5m to buy a striker, and I don't think I could get much better than Helguson.
"So I think you've got to be careful - sometimes January is not the right time. I need players in (other) areas that I'll try to get.
