Griffin targeting England spot

Hull FC centre Josh Griffin is hoping he can earn a call-up to the England squad as he looks to help his new club win more silerware.

The 26-year-old has spent his career moving between clubs in Super League having previously represented the likes of Wakefield, Huddersfield and Castleford.

The centre's form at Salford led to Hull FC coming in for him during the off-season and he hopes to have a big impact with the Airlie Birds.

Griffin is keen to help the club emulate their trophy-winning exploits of 2016, while also eyeing a spot in the England squad for next year's World Cup.

"I've got team targets, I want us to repeat the success of this year and maybe go one step further," he said. "I've got my individual goals as well - I want to be pushing for the England spot for next year's World Cup."
