Hull KR wing Iain Thornley has described his side's crucial clash with Huddersfield Giants on Saturday as being like a "cup final".
The two sides will go head-to-head at the Lightstream Stadium with the winner retaining their place in Super League for next season, while the loser will face either Salford Red Devils or London Broncos in next week's Million Pound Game.
Former Wigan youngster Thornley is determined to help KR get the victory they need on Saturday, describing it as potentially the biggest game of his career to date.
"It's like a cup final. It's a game we need to win, the biggest game of the season or career even as we're playing for our jobs, bills that pay the mortgage, food on the table etc.
"If we don't win, we're in the Million-Pound Game and, if we lose that, the club's going down and it's not going to be the same."
The Robins were narrow 20-19 winners when the two sides met on Humberside earlier in the season and they will head into the clash in confident mood following back-to-back away successes against London Broncos and Featherstone Rovers.
Huddersfield will also head into the contest in good spirits, as they secured an impressive 22-14 victory over Leeds Rhinos last time out.
