Priestland - I doubt I will play for Wales again

Bath fly-half Rhys Priestland has claimed he probably will not get the chance to play for Wales again.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a successful Wales career to date, with Priestland picking up 48 caps.

He has helped his country compete with some of the world's best teams but his last Test start came back in 2015 during a World Cup clash against Uruguay.

After leaving Wales for Bath, he requires a wildcard pick to play in the next World Cup and coach Warren Gatland can only pick four players outside of Wales.

Priestland signed a new deal with Bath seven months ago and he insists his focus is now with his club team.

"My sole focus is with Bath - that is all I am concentrating on," he said. "I would be surprised if I play for Wales again.

"For me, I just want to play well for Bath. I love it at the club. It's a fantastic place to play and a fantastic place to live."
