Binos confirm Crawford departure
HID Scottish League Two, Updated:
Stirling Albion have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper David Crawford after his short-term deal ended.
The stopper was brought in to play against Arbroath on August 4th, due to injuries to the trio of Sam Filler, Mark Peat and Jamie Cleland, but with them all now having returned to action, the club have decided against offering him a permanent deal.
Crawford impressed during his single outing for the Binos and boss Greig McDonald has tipped him to find a new club in the near future.
"I'd like to thank David for helping us out at such short notice and for putting in an excellent performance up at Arbroath," he said. "He is a great guy and a good professional and I am sure he will be a great asset for whoever he chooses to sign for."
