Dembele back but Rodgers waits on another

Striker Moussa Dembele is back in the Celtic squad for the Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Ross County at Parkhead on Saturday.

The French striker has been missing since July with a hamstring injury but has been back in training this week and will return to the fold on Saturday.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers will be delighted to get Dembele back ahead of a busy period of domestic and Champions League matches with the ex-Fulham forward targeting a run of games now that he is back fit.

“Moussa looks good,” said Rodgers.

“He’s been training now for a few weeks. He’ll be in the squad.”

Dedryck Boyata will be assessed by Rodgers after battling back from a knee injury with fellow defender Erik Sviatchenko on the mend following a knee problem.
