Dembele unlikely to make January exit

Celtic are likely to resist all offers for star striker Moussa Dembele this month but his long-term future looks uncertain.

The former Fulham man, who joined Celtic last summer, has been a real star north of the border, scoring 19 goals in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.

Several Premier League sides in England are believed to be interested in the 20-year-old, with West Ham being regularly linked with his signature, but the Scottish champions will do all they can to hold on to him – for now.

Rodgers has previously vowed that Dembele will not be sold this month but an exit could be on the cards for the summer if suitors are prepared to pay the asking price, which is likely to be in the region of £20-30million.

Dembele is under contract at Celtic Park until 2020.
