Murty focused on Ross County

Rangers xaretaker manager Graeme Murty insists he will carry on as normal as he tries to plan ahead for the clash with Ross County.

Reports suggest that Rangers will make a move for Aberdeen coach Derek McInnes in the coming days, but Murty remains in charge for the time being.

The Gers will host Owen Coyle’s men on Saturday and Murty insists the speculation will not put him off his plans.

Ryan Jack is suspended after being sent off against Aberdeen, while Rangers have a number of injuries.

Bruno Alves and Graham Dorrans are struggling with injuries, while Danny Wilson a doubt due to a head injury.

Speaking ahead of kick-off, Murty told The National: “With Bruno going out and Danny going out it gave other people an opportunity to step up.

“David Bates got man of the match from Sky Sports and Fabio [Cardoso] came on and won headers and won battles.

“The guys who came in did well, albeit we will be checking the other two medically and seeing how soon we can get a fully fit squad back together.”
