De Zerbi staying grounded

Roberto De Zerbi refused to get carried away after watching his Palermo side win their first Serie A game of the season on Wednesday.
The Sicilians left it late as Ilija Nestorovski struck in the 89th minute to claim the spoils from a 1-0 win at Atalanta.
It was the first time that the Rosanero had picked up three points this term, with draws against Inter and Crotone, and they sit 16th in the Italian top-flight standings with five points from as many games played.
De Zerbi is the latest in a long line of managers that controversial owner Maurizio Zamparini has employed over the past few seasons and it remains to be seen how long he stays in the job.
And the 37-year-old coach knows that he and his charges are in for a long season and one win, while welcome, will not change anything.
"We suffered because we’re destined to suffer in this League," he told Sky Sport Italia. "But to suffer passively is one thing and to offer something of our own is another."
