Stephan El Shaarawy is confident loan signing Juan Jesus will come good at Roma despite his low-key start to the season.
Jesus is on a season-long loan from Inter but has failed to shine in his short spell at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 25-year-old has made one start and two other appearances as a substitute to date but has failed to show the form that saw him win four caps for Brazil just a few years ago.
He made a 72nd-minute appearances from the bench as the capital outfit beat Crotone 4-0 on Wednesday night but El Shaarawy is certain that the South America will produce the goods at Roma once his confidence increases.
"He's a player who’s been off his game, but he's a good player, young and can improve," he told Roma Radio. "Confidence is very important for a player, it makes you feel stronger and you can give your best."
