The 36-year-old France international left-back saw his near 12-month stay at Marseille come to an abrupt end last week as the Ligue 1 outfit terminated his contract.
Evra was banned by UEFA until June 30, 2018 for kicking a supporter during the warm-up ahead of the Europa League game with Vitoria Guimaraes.
There were suggestions he could retire on the back of the suspension, but his agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed that is not the case.
Napoli have immediately been linked with a move to sign Evra and, while Pastorello feels the former Juventus man is not keen on a return to Italy, he would not rule anything out.
"He knows that he made a mistake, but his career doesn't end here," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He doesn't want to hang up his boots in this way. Physically, he is stronger than five or six years ago and many clubs have already contacted us."
On Napoli, Pastorello added: "Patrice doesn't see himself in Serie A again after his years with Juventus. We won't rule anything out, not even Napoli, but I think it would be complicated."
