Inter Milan will make another move to try and land Real Madrid star Luka Modric in January’s transfer window, reports in Italy claim.

The claims state that Modric himself has told his Croatia international team-mates he would like to join the Milan outfit and team up with compatriots Sime Vrsaljko, Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic who all play at the Nerazzurri.

Over summer, Inter are reported to have offered Modric a six-year contract, which would see him play with them for four years, before spending two at their Chinese sister club Jiangsu Suning, but any deal is apparently dependent on Inter making it past the group stages of the Champions League – as well as Real Madrid allowing him to move on.
