Sarri pleased with Ramsey condition
Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri says Aaron Ramsey is getting back close to the level he wants him at after making his Bianconeri debut.
The Welshman arrived at the Allianz Stadium on a free transfer from Arsenal after agreeing a move midway through last season but has had to remain patient for his debut.
Hamstring troubles have prevented him from being part of the Juve squad which has amassed seven points from a possible nine at the beginning of the season.
However, on Wednesday evening, he was handed his debut in their first Champions League group match of the season as he came on for the final three minutes of their 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.
Proud to have made my debut tonight. Gutted we didn’t come away with the win but a long way to go, it’s just the beginning of our journey @juventus #championsleague #finoallafine pic.twitter.com/VB3Q3eQh9a

Ramsey will now hope to make his first appearance in Serie A at the weekend when Juve host Hellas Verona in Turin, and Sarri says he is pleased with the progress the 28-year-old has been making.
”In recent days he made some significant steps forward, he’s getting back on track. Today I’ll see who should get some space tomorrow,” he said.
Ramsey joined Juventus with a hamstring injury which curtailed his long Arsenal career towards the end of last season.
He suffered a recurrence of the problem at the beginning of the season, halting his club debut and also ruling him out of Wales’ games against Azerbaijan and Belarus.
