Nicola wants positive display

Serie A

Crotone boss Davide Nicola has urged his team to use a "practical and courageous" display against Inter this weekend.

Nicola’s side currently sit in the bottom three after the first three games of the Serie A season.

While they picked up a point against Hellas Verona, Crotone have also lost to Milan and Caligari and they remain 18th in the league table.

On the other hand, Inter have yet to drop a point but Nicola insists his team cannot sit back.

He told ANSA: “Against strong teams like Inter, we have to be practical and courageous.

“I’d be worried if we weren’t scoring goals because we weren’t creating chances, but we do create chances. Our forwards will come good during the season.

“We need to build the numbers, we’re building our identity.”
