Rafinha set for Inter switch

Serie A

Inter Milan are reportedly close to completing the loan signing of Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara.

Rafinha, who has recently recovered from a serious knee injury, is looking for regular first-team opportunities with the World Cup taking place in Russia this year and it appears he will have to look away from Camp Nou for this.

The Brazil international was linked with a move to Celta Vigo, having previously been on loan during the 2013/14 season, but Inter look as if they have managed to steal in with a late move.

Luciano Spalletti has been eager to strengthen his squad this month and it is claimed the 24-year-old midfielder will join on a temporary deal until the end of the season with an 18million euros option to buy included.

The Nerazzurri were also said to be interested in Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu but he is expected to make the switch to Serie A rivals Napoli in a deal worth around 15m euros.
