Charlie Austin insists that he is focused on scoring goals for Southampton despite calls for him to be called up to the England squad.

Southampton: Saints star plays down England claims

The 27-year-old striker is in red-hot form this season and a double against former club Burnley on Sunday took his tally to seven goals in as many games in all competitions.
There have already been calls for Austin to be recognised with a place in the Three Lions squad, with Saints boss Claude Puel claiming he deserved one for the World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia earlier this month.
However, his latest brace against the Clarets will no doubt lead to more pressure on England's interim boss Gareth Southgate to give Austin an opportunity on the international stage for next month's World Cup qualifier against Scotland and a friendly with Spain next month.

But Austin insists that he is just concentrating on his form for the Saints and not winning an England call.
He told the Daily Echo: "If it happens, great, if not I'll be here just working hard trying to score as many goals for Southampton as possible.
"I've got a job to do here at Southampton."
Austin added: "We need to push on now. We've got a big game on Thursday against Inter Milan and we've got an even bigger one in the league against Man City."
