Jack adds to Rangers’ injury problems
Ryan Jack has become Rangers’ latest injury concern after withdrawing from the Scotland squad with a knee problem.
The swollen joint saw the midfielder, who impressed at Ibrox last season, miss Friday’s Euro 2020 defeat to Russia and he will now also be absent for Monday evening’s clash with Belgium.
Scotland boss Steve Clarke confirmed the player had returned to Ibrox for treatment. At this stage it is not known whether he will be in contention to face Livingston in the Premiership on Saturday.
Clarke said: “He had a little bit of swelling on his knee on Friday and was prepared to sit on the bench.
"He would be an absolute stick-on in the Scotland squad!"

“But on Saturday there was more swelling and Rangers decided to go safety first.”
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard could do without further injury issues in his squad.
Winger Jordan Jones was last week ruled out for a month due to a knee injury, while right-back Jon Flanagan is expected to be out for longer as he continues his recovery from groin surgery.
