Houston game no problem for Stoke

Stoke have announced a friendly against Houston Dynamo as part of their pre-season tour of the United States.

Following US international Geoff Cameron's transfer to the Britannia Stadium last summer an agreement in principle was established to play the Major League Soccer side.

They will face Dynamo in Houston on July 24 before taking on FC Dallas, from whom they bought USA winger Brek Shea in January, three days later.

"Geoff Cameron's transfer to us from Houston Dynamo last summer presented us with an opportunity to play against them if we decided to return to the US as part of our pre-season preparations," said Potters chief executive Tony Scholes.

"Last year's trip proved to be enormously successful in the eyes of the football management and players and we're delighted to be heading back there again."
