Pulis considers double change

Kenwyne Jones and Robert Huth are set for Stoke recalls against Liverpool but Jermaine Pennant and Jonathan Woodgate face late tests.

Jones is in line to be named in the starting line-up for the Carling Cup fourth-round clash at the Britannia Stadium after making a goalscoring return from injury in Europe last week.

Huth is poised to be restored in defence with boss Tony Pulis unhappy at the three goals that the Potters conceded at Arsenal last weekend but Pennant and Woodgate remain doubtful.

The former is in danger of missing the game against his former club with a hamstring injury while Pulis will make a late decision on whether to include the latter after three games out with a calf problem.
