Mignolet confident of survival

Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is looking upwards rather than over his shoulder as he contemplates the Premier League run-in.
The 24-year-old Belgium international is refusing to consider that the Black Cats can forget about relegation after collecting 13 points from the last 21 on offer to ease three wins clear of the drop zone.
However, Mignolet is setting positive, rather than negative targets after playing his part in a concerted revival, culminating in Tuesday night's hard-fought 0-0 home draw with Capital One Cup finalists Swansea.
Asked if Sunderland are now safe as a result of their recent run, he said: "I don't think we can speak in those kind of words.
"We just have to take every game as it comes and try to do our best in every single game, try to win the three points at stake and then we will see where we end up in the table.
"But there is still a lot to play for. It's not only looking backwards, also we can look above and there are still a lot of things to play for.
"Let's start by winning the game on Saturday."
