Clement says he has already sat down with the Swans hierarchy to discuss plans for the winter window, insisting he expects to still be in charge come the new year, despite his team currently propping up the Premier League.
Swansea have already been linked with the likes of Jan Boril, Daniel Opare and Jack Hendry - all of who are defenders - thus far but Clement says his priorities lie elsewhere when it comes to improving the team.
The Welsh outfit are the joint-lowest scorers in the division and Clement admits it is vital they improve their frontline if they are to escape the relegation zone.
When discussing the recent links to players, Clement said: "The guys from the communication department wrote down a list of names we have been linked with, and it’s a good list. I am not going to comment on individual players, there are some I have not heard of.
"The priority is the front positions, players that can create. That has been low, we are not creating loads and not converting. We are not creating much or scoring much.
"The margins are small, eight games lost by a single goal and it was not the case last season when we were losing 3-0, 4-0. 5-0. We have to make marginal gains work for us."
