Dobbie struggled to break into the Swans side last season following promotion to the Premier League and eventually returned to the Championship to join Blackpool on loan.
The Seasiders are keen to sign him on a permanent basis this summer, while Celtic have also been linked, but Dobbie is not thinking about leaving and is keen to show new boss Michael Laudrup what he can do.
Dobbie believes he has a clean slate following the departure of Brendan Rodgers and things got off to a great start when he bagged a hat-trick against Port Talbot Town at the weekend.
"I've seen a lot of speculation in the papers but I've still got another year here at Swansea and when Brendan moved on my main objective was to come back and make sure I was ready for this pre-season, whoever the manager was that came in," Dobbie revealed.
"For me it's all about showing I can play in this team and in this league because I really believe in myself that I can."
