Juan Martin del Potro is confident of being fully fit for Argentina's Davis Cup final against Croatia in November.
The world number 64, who will celebrate his 28th birthday this coming Friday, has enjoyed a renaissance in 2016 having overcome the series of wrist injuries that have hampered his career since 2012.
Del Potro picked up an Olympic silver medal in Rio last month, having lost to Britain's Andy Murray in the final, while he also reached the quarter-finals of the US Open.
He then exacted revenge on Murray by defeating him in their singles' tie at last weekend's Davis Cup semi-finals as Argentina edged out reigning champions Great Britain 3-2 to set up a fifth final appearance in 11 years.
Argentina will bid to win their first Davis Cup in Croatia between November 25-27 and, while Del Potro feels he is still not firing on all cylinders, he expects to on top of his game by then.
He said: "We managed to fulfil our dream to qualify for the final. We have a united group, we talk a lot.
"It went perfectly for us and I have enough time to prepare (for the final).
"Now it's time to rest and to have a general medical examination. I am still not at my best level, even if the last few months were some of the best moments in my career."
