Andre Villas-Boas' men had been flying along until the defeat at Liverpool but that was followed by setbacks against Inter Milan and then, most damagingly, at home to Fulham.
Carroll believes Spurs will be ready to go again after the international break when they take on Swansea.
"After the international break hopefully we'll kick on again," he said. "I'm sure with the lads in there we can [bounce back].
"We've got some big characters and I'm sure we'll do that."
Spurs are now fourth in the Premier League and have played a game more than the sides around them.
