Carroll wants to capitalise on loan
Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll says he's optimistic a loan spell at QPR will help move his career in the right direction.
Carroll's move to join up with former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road was confirmed late on transfer deadline day.
The 21-year-old is very highly rated by the R's boss, who believes he will go on to play at the very top and become a regular in the England set-up.
Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend have previously spent time on loan with the west London club and been able to mature as players by gaining regular competitive football and Carroll is hopeful that he can do the same.
Carroll said: "Harry (Redknapp) was a big factor for me because of how he likes the game to be played.
"The important thing for me now at this time in my career is to be playing regular football and hopefully I can achieve that here.
"I've seen what Kyle (Walker) and Andros (Townsend) got from their loans at Loftus Road, and I hope I can enjoy similar success."
