Injury worry for Spurs
Tottenham will give late fitness checks to striker Jermain Defoe and defender Kyle Walker ahead of the clash with arch rivals Arsenal.
The duo both picked up hamstring injuries in last weeks late defeat to Manchester City and both are rated as 50-50 ahead of the clash with the Gunners on Saturday lunchtime but Andre Villas-Boas will give them as long as they can to prove their fitness.
There was also a worry over wide man Aaron Lennon with his recurring hamstring problem but he appears to have been given the green light to play
Moussa Dembele will not play as he continues to struggle with his hip problem that has kept him out of the club's last eight games. The Belgian had hoped to return for the crunch match at the Emirates Stadium, but Villas-Boas confirmed on Thursday that he would not be ready.
Sandro will have a late check on his calf injury but Scott Parker (Achilles), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) are not expected to feature.
