The striker, real name Givanildo Vieira de Souza but nicknamed Hulk because of his bulky physique, has been in impressive form for the Portuguese league leaders, finding the back of the net 19 times already.
That form has not gone unnoticed by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp who is said to be a long-time admirer of the Brazilian ace. With that in mind it is suggested that the White Hart Lane outfit could make a move for the 24-year-old in the summer.
However, Hulk would not come cheap with the player, who can also operate as a winger, valued in the region of £22 million.
Spurs, though, are said to be keen to bring in a new striker and Hulk could be the man that fits into Harry Redknapp's plans.
Premiership rivals Manchester United have also been linked to the Brazilian international, although with Sir Alex Ferguson already having plenty of striking options at his disposal, it is speculated that Spurs would be in the box seat for Hulk's signature if they made a move for the forward.
