Race on for England ace
Tottenham have made the first overtures to bring David Beckham in an effort to land him on a free transfer in November.
The former Manchester United ace comes to the end of his LA Galaxy contract in November and is available on a free transfer, but despite being 36-years-old there will be no shortage of offers for Beckham.
QPR have also been linked with a move for Beckham, backed by new owner Tony Fernandes, and there will be others who would want to bring him back to the Premier League.
With Beckham having an eye on representing Great Britain in next year's Olympics, he will be looking to get fixed up with a new club as soon as possible.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is looking to land Beckham on a short term deal, if others were to offer him a longer term contract then that could swing any deal in their favour.
