Magpies loanee seeking permanent deal
Newcastle loanee Salomon Rondon admits he would love to join the club on a permanent basis.
The Venezuela international linked up with the Magpies on a season-long loan deal from West Brom over the summer.
Injuries have prevented Rondon from playing as much football as he would like although the frontman appears to have settled in recent weeks.
He boasts two goals from seven Premier League starts, having scored a brace in the win over Bournemouth, and claims he would love to extend his stay at St James’ Park.
“Permanent deal? Yes, of course,” Rondon told the Daily Mirror. “It now depends on my work. I just do my best.
“I have to help the team, win games, score goals. It won’t be my decision.
“But I know my family is settled here and so are the kids and they speak English. I would be really happy to stay.”
