Leicester sounding out new home for Silva
Leicester City are understood to have offered several Premier League and French clubs the chance to sign Adrien Silva on loan.
The Portugal international cost the Foxes £25million when he joined from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2017 but the move has not worked out, with Silva managing just five appearances this season and 19 in total for the club.
Boss Claude Puel revealed earlier in the week that he expects the 29-year-old to move on in January although it appears the club are not willing to throw in the towel completely, having only made the midfielder available on loan.
Reports in France claim both Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have been offered Silva as they seek to bolster their midfields this month. Several unnamed Premier League clubs are also thought to have been asked whether or not they would be interested.
Silva is reportedly keen on returning to his former club Sporting although it is unlikely they will be able to meet Leicester’s terms, with the King Power Stadium outfit demanding whoever signs the midfielder pay his entire £60,000 per week salary.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce are another team believed to be interested, with reports in Turkey claiming talks between the two parties are already underway.
