Milan plan player-plus-cash Insigne offer
AC Milan are hopeful of tempting Napoli into selling Lorenzo Insigne this summer by offering them 40million euros and Suso.
It is understood that Insigne is unhappy with the treatment he has received from head coach Carlo Ancelotti recently, expressing his frustration when being taken off in last week’s Europa League loss to Arsenal.
That was followed by him spending the entire match on the bench in Monday’s surprise home loss to Atalanta.
Having recently refused to rule out leaving the Stadio San Paolo, much to the anger of the Napoli ultras, Milan are hopeful they might be able to prise Insigne away, according to the reports in the Italian press.
It is understood the Naples outfit value the 27-year-old at 100million euros but the Rossoneri are hopeful of tempting them to the negotiating table with an offer of 40million euros and Suso, who is valued at 40million euros by the San Siro staff.
Milan are set to use super agent Mino Raiola and he will meet with the Napoli hierarchy this week to see if a deal would be possible.
