Zinedine Zidane has cast more doubt on Gareth Bale’s future, saying he does not know if Sunday’s game will be his last for Real Madrid.

Ahead of tomorrow’s final game of the La Liga season at home to Real Betis, Zidane was asked by reporters if the Wales international would be bidding farewell to the club this summer.

The former Tottenham man has regularly insisted he does not want to leave the Bernabeu and there has been plenty of speculation Los Blancos are keen to get rid of the injury-prone 29-year-old, who has only managed 21 La Liga starts this term.

When asked about Bale’s future before the Betis game, Zidane said: ‘He’ll be part of the squad tomorrow and that’s all I can tell you.

‘You’ll see the team that we put out.

I don’t know whether this will be his last game.

‘We’re at the end of the season and next year there’ll be changes, but I don’t know whether this will be his last game or not.’
