Huge Zaha price puts off Spurs
Tottenham are believed to have cooled their interest in Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha as the Eagles apparently want £100m for him.
The 26-year-old has made it clear he would like to leave Selhurst Park this summer and make the step up to a club regularly competing in the Champions League.
Tottenham were thought to be among the teams pursuing the Ivory Coast international and Palace are likely to let him leave – provided they get their asking price.
Earlier in the season it was suggested the Eagles would be willing to listen to offers in excess of £60million for the wideman but now, after another outstanding campaign in the Premier League, reports say the price has risen considerably.
If Palace want £100m for Zaha, Spurs are expected to walk away from any potential deal and boss Mauricio Pochettino will look elsewhere for summer reinforcements at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Manchester United, where the Abidjan-born winger spent an unsuccessful couple of years between 2013 and 2015, are also eyeing the Palace star this summer, while Arsenal have recently been credited with an interest.
Zaha scored 10 goals and managed 10 assists in 34 Premier League appearances this season.
