Spurs linked with swoop for Real playmaker
Tottenham are reported to be in the box seat to do a deal for Real Madrid playmaker Dani Ceballos.
After failing to make a single signing in the last two transfer windows, boss Mauricio Pochettino has been given the all clear to bring new players in, and midfielders are high on his wanted list.
A host of players including Andre Gomes, Youri Tielemans, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso have been linked and now Ceballos can be added to that list.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact since joining Real from Real Betis back in 2017, and is ready to move on in search of more regular action.
Spurs could be the perfect fit, but he will not come cheap, with reports claiming Real will be looking for a fee in the region of £44million if they are to do a deal.
Spurs could be willing to go that high after seeing their coffers boosted dramatically after making the Champions League final.
