Gunners to make Fraser move next week
Arsenal are set to firm up their interest in Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser after next week’s Europa League final against Chelsea.
The Independent claims the Scotland international is one of Unai Emery’s top transfer targets this summer but the story rubbishes reports elsewhere that suggested the Gunners could face competition from Manchester United for his signature.
Bournemouth are understood to be holding out for a price in the region of £30m for Fraser, who was second only to Chelsea forward Eden Hazard for Premier League assists this season with 14.
The 25-year-old is entering the final year of his contract after seven seasons at the Vitality Stadium and the Cherries are already understood to be on the lookout for his replacement, having been linked to Derby County’s on-loan Liverpool winger Harry Wilson in the last few days.
Aberdeen will be owed around 20 per cent of any future transfer fee after insisting upon a sell-on clause when they sold the player to the then League One side back in 2013.
