Marega linked with Leicester switch
According to reports, Leicester City want to sign Porto striker Moussa Marega this summer.
Marega has enjoyed a solid campaign this year after he netted 21 goals in all competitions but he was unable to help Porto win the Portuguese title.
He caught the eye in the Champions League and Leicester have already sent scouts to watch Porto beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1 last weekend.
They were thought to be primarily watching Alex Telles but it appears that Marega now tops boss Brendan Rodgers’ wishlist.
The Mali international mainly plays down the middle but he has shown he can do a job on the wing this season.
Rodgers is looking for flexibility from his new forward recruits, with the Northern Irishman only able to call upon Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho as it stands as senior out-and-out central strikers, and Marega is someone he’s likely to pursue over the summer, even if other clubs throughout Europe are also interested.
