Oakley-Boothe could exit Spurs
Tottenham are reportedly set to lose young midfielder Tashan Oakley-Boothe, with several clubs interested.
The England youth international made his senior debut against Barnsley in September 2017, when turning out for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the League Cup.
However, since then, he has failed to kick on and has not featured or the first-team at all since that game.
The 19-year-old has just 12 months remaining on his current contract, though Spurs have the safety blanket of an extra year’s option.
However, that might not be enough to convince Oakley-Boothe to stay, as several clubs based home and abroad are interested in taking him away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Oakley-Boothe has impressed for the club’s Under-23 side, but is thought to want to test himself in senior football, which is looking increasingly unlikely at Spurs, particularly if the rumours surrounding the potential signing of Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele are true.
