Inter ready Lukaku offer
Inter Milan are preparing to make an official approach for Manchester United’s unsettled striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international is considering his future at Old Trafford and has reportedly told his team-mates he is looking for a way out of the club this summer, with Inter leading the chase to sign him.
New Nerazurri boss Antonio Conte has targeted the former Everton forward as the man he wants to build his frontline around in Serie A and is prepared to splash out in excess of £70million for the 26-year-old.
However, Inter may have to first sell Mauro Icardi to raise the required funds and that could delay any eventual agreement with the Red Devils for Lukaku.
Icardi is a £60million Juventus target this summer and that move is likely to have to go through first before Lukaku could then seal a switch to the San Siro.
Lukaku joined United in summer 2017 for £75million but has not always been first choice at Old Trafford, and has been criticised by some fans for his displays, especially last season when he only scored 15 goals.
