Prem clubs line up for Delph
Several Premier League clubs have been put on alert following reports Fabian Delph could be allowed to leave Man City this summer.
The 29-year-old has only been a bit-part player under Pep Guardiola since making the move from Aston Villa four years ago after injuries restricted his progress at the Etihad Stadium.
The former Leeds man has made just 89 appearances for City in all competitions, scoring five goals, and may be allowed to move on this summer when new recruits arrive.
Guardiola is expected to sign Rodri from Atletico Madrid, while Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is another target, and if the City boss brings in more midfield talent then inevitably others must leave, putting a question mark over Delph’s future.
Turkish giants Galatasaray have been tentatively linked already but there would be no shortage of offers from Premier League clubs, with the likes of West Ham, Everton, Newcastle and old club Villa all likely to be keen.
