Real Madrid and Juventus are set for a straight battle to sign Man Utd star Paul Pogba amid claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants him out.

Pogba said last week he was keen to leave Old Trafford for a new challenge this summer and had previously revealed it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid under fellow Frenchman Zinedine Zidane.

Juventus have made it clear they are keen to re-sign the midfielder and all the signs are that United will eventually cash in with one or the other – despite Solskjaer saying at the end of last season he expected the 26-year-old to be at the club next term.

Real are also targeting Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen this summer but have apparently now prioritised Pogba ahead of the Dane and hope to strike a deal with United to sign him for around £100million.

Solskjaer is thought to have grown increasingly frustrated with Pogba and his comments last week about wanting to move on may well have been the final straw for the Norwegian boss.
