Foxes handed boost in pursuit of Inter star
Leicester’s chances of landing Ivan Perisic have been boosted by the news the Croatian international is said to be keen on a move to England.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is said to be keen on the winger, who this time last year helped his nation all the way to the World Cup final before losing to France.
It would be an ambitious signing by the Foxes, but reports in the Italian press claim they are in with a good chance as Perisic is keen to test himself in the Premier League.
There are big changes afoot at the San Siro, following the appointment of former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, and Perisic could be one of several high profile players to move.
The player is said to have lucrative offers from the Chinese Super League in the pipeline but is willing to turn them down in favour of a move to the King Power Stadium.
It will take a transfer fee of £30million to get the deal done, while Perisic will also demand big wages, meaning it will be an expensive transfer for the Foxes.
