Howe plans future talks with Cherries ace
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says he will hold future talks with Jordan Ibe over the summer following reports linking him with a move away.
The 23-year-old’s contract is due to expire this time next year and with there being no sign of him penning a new one, reports have suggested he could be on the move.
Leicester City are thought to be keen as they are managed by Brendan Rodgers, who worked with Ibe at Liverpool, but by the way Howe is talking, he has no plans to let him go.
Ibe had a mixed campaign with the Cherries but still appears to be very much in the thoughts of Howe moving forward.
‘He’s a player that we’ll sit down and talk to during the summer.
Although a very young player, Jordon is still an experienced player,’ the boss said.
‘He’s had a lot of exposure to football in his career so far so I had no doubt that he’d be able to come in and play very well.
‘ Ibe impressed in the final two games of the season after returning to the side, chipping in with his first goal in 14 months against Crystal Palace.
